Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is fruity and piney hops with citrus, zesty orange peel, pine resin, tangerine, tropical notes, mango, a floral touch, and pale malt. Fairly sweetish flavour with a medium bitterness. Body is medium. Sweetish with lots of orange, pine and fruits. Pleasantly West-Coastish during the NEIPA craze.

31 July 2019. At Bar Beenhouwer, Ghent. Cheers, Anke & Pieter! 47cl can. Pours hazy ochre with a lasting, small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of passionfruit, unripe peach, papaya, mandarin, lemon zest, honey. Taste is medium fruity sweet, lots of juicy peach, papaya & mandarin resting on thin, bready & honeyish maltiness; sourish accents of lemon & lime making the way for a bitter core of mango, grapefruit & orange peel, more bitter in the dry, earthy hoppy finish, a tad floral, with lingering bitter grapefruit & some peach. Medium body, creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Assertive NEIPA.

The fourth installment of this Estonian series of DIPAs, double dry-hopped with Amarillo and Citra. From a 50 cc can at Bar Beenhouwer in Ghent. Creamy, fluffy, egg-white, thick and stable head on a misty peach blonde beer with orangey tinge. Aroma of pink grapefruit, dry marijuana, green onions, old dry biscuit, olive oil, peppercorns, gin, roses and a background whiff of sweaty socks somewhere. Fruity onset but cleanishly so, notes of dried peach and grapefruit, green olive-like umami accent, very spritzy - even sharp - carbonation, full and oily mouthfeel; nice rounded biscuity malt body, lightly toasty-bitterish and cracker-like, drenched in a long, very grapefruity hop bitter finish with a quinine-like bitterness to it as well as a subtle accent of tropical fruit, followed by a vague gin-like alcohol warmth. A fine and rather classically conceived DIPA - not completely NEIPA this time, but still a bit softer than most of the classic American West Coast IPAs were in their heydays, so something of a modern 'compromise' IPA in a sense; luckily this one has the guts to present a lot of uncompromising bitterness and keep the sweet tropical fruit juice aspect at bay. Have an extra point for that.

Hazy peachy colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour certainly have rounded Amarillo hop bitterness. Not much of the Citra. Full bodied. Moderately carbonated.

Had this at borefts and loved it. Pours hazy golden with lots of head. Aroma is fruity, a tad exotic, with some yeast and spices. Big body. Flavour is lovely. Good malt base, clean. Loads of citrus fruit, lemon and some grapefruit. Exotic fruits like papaya and mango in the background. Light bitterness, loads of hops. In the finish lots of herbal and some pine hops flavours come out. An amazing and underrated NEIPA from Sori.
