Bottiglia. Il naso riconosce segni di luppolo. La finezza olfattiva è elevata e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di apparenza velata. Bollicine fini costituiscono la forma del perlage, con carbonazione persistente. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è carico. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il retrogusto è intenso. Al palato arrivano note di miele, crosta di pane, frutta secca, luppolo, resina, pino, agrumi, pompelmo, ananas, rabarbaro, pepe e spezie.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is candied orange with soft citrussy hops, malt, floral and spicy notes. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium. Not much of an IIPA (sub-par like most Insel brews), but pleasant and drinkable.

From Amstein, St-Légier, best before 11/24. Good thing on saturday after the show of my daughter. Smooth and malty ipa, a bit sweet, fruity at some moments, light bitterness, a bit resinous, citrus, yeasty, correct. 20.01.25

Die deutsche Küste 🚢 ist jetzt nicht gerade die stürmischte, aber es kann auch dort gefährlich werden -vor allem wenn der Skipper zu viel von diesen Bier 🍺 hatte. Denn es ist verdammt stark gepaart mit einer ordentlichen Bitterkeit und einem Wumms wie ein Klabautermann 👺Dabei hat es aber auch schöne grasige Hopfennoten, allerdings leidet die Aromenharmonie im bitteren Gewässer Schiffbruch.
Nur was für die ganz harten Hopfen-Matrosen ☠️

Smell of hops, smoke. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of gtapefruit, other fruit, hops, some spruce. Medium sweet. Lively carbon.

Hazy, dark amber color and a nice white head. Restraint, fruity and dusty nose. Taste is yeasty-fruity. Dry, dusty finish. Bitter sweet hoips.

Bottle. Cloudy dark orange sporting a massive white head. Aroma of oranges, tangerines, soap and flowers. Taste of oranges, grapefruits, tropical fruits, some pine, malts, honey and orange marmelade. Moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. So-so like the majority of this brewery‘s output.

Bottled. Orangeish golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is floral, some aloe vera, mild parfumed soap and some sweet malts to it. Flavour is citrus, tropical fruits, grains and some mild aloe veraish elements. Feels a lot less than 7.5% to be honest.

Bottle, big bubbly head, clear deep orange to brown colour, lots of orange marmalade and malt, a bit of yeast and alcohol, medium bitterness and a bit heavy. Ok, quite simple.
