A clear pilsner that is easy to drink, with a pleasant, slightly bitter aftertaste. Bavaria Premium is a clear light-coloured pilsner, brewed with barley malt, natural mineral water and hop. Refreshing, fruity and slightly hop-like, with a full flavour and beautifully balanced. An accessible pure pilsner, brewed with the best ingredients and natural mineral water from Bavaria's own spring.

33cl can. Pale golden pour with a nice white head. Smells like citrus hops, sugar, corn and wheat. Tastes sweet and bland, with no kind of bitter or salty note. Ugh...

Bottle, 0.33l & can, 0.50l. Clear pale golden color with large frothy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of cooked vegetables, bread, grass and cardboard. Tastes sweetish grainy with slightly sour grassy following and with very mild bitter finish. Light body, watery texture and average carbonation in palate. Poor Dutch macro piss...

F: rich, white, average lasting. C: pale gold, clear. A: very malty, hint of yeast. T: malty, with some biscuits sweetness, roasted malt, hint of salt, quite good for commercial because it is brewed from mineral water, medium body, good carbo, 0,65l bottle from Carrefour in Gwadeloupe.

500ml bottle brewed under licence in Russia. Pours pale yellow with a small white head. Grainy and metallic aroma. Watery and grainy taste. Nothing to it really, another faceless pale lager (with a stupid name too).

Pours a clear golden color, topped with a medium sized frothy head, white color. Very mild aroma, almost non-existant. Just some grainy notes. Taste is a tad sweet at the start with mild bitterness in the finish. Very light body, not much taste to it, but just a little something to make it crisp. Not that bad for a macro. It’s drinkable, though nothing you’d be amazed by.

330 ml. can Bavaria Premium Original 0.0 % next to 500 ml. can Bavaria Premium Pilsner 5.0 %. Both purchased @ Carrefour. BBF 12-2015 (first one). BBF 03-2015 (second one). Appearance is pretty much identical. Clear heavily sparkling golden, 5.0 % one is maybe a small touch hazier, both are very light colored & crystal-clear. Artificial looking egg-white chemical head, huge at first, collapses very quickly. NA version smells quite unpleasant, huge paper, hugely chemical, insecticide, something hugely revolting oily, industrial oil, motor oil,…. 5.0 % version’s smell is seemingly almost enjoyable next to it. Light phenolic, big grain alcohol, juniper berries, industrial & phenolic smelling. 5.0 % version’s taste is watery phenolic grain alcohol, chemical, industrial, harsh, juniper berries, light floral, harsh & industrial. NA version is surprisingly not too different, obv. less phenolic & grain alcohol but it mimics the flavor profile oddly well in a strange oily kind of way, there is even an odd juniper berry, watery, chemical aftertaste, phenolically-like,… Lightly papery. The 5.0 % is a bit watery, feels like industrial strength swill diluted. Which it probably is. The NA version is very watery but slightly more enjoyable lacking the industrial punch. Neither of them are very enjoyable. If you like the alcoholic one & you are hunkering for a NA version, this one does a very decent job.

Cloudy, golden-orange, moderate strong white head. Aroma is malt, fruity like banana, bread. Taste is low to medium sweet malt, grains, banana fruitcake, low to medium herbal grassy bitterness. Low to medium bodied and moderate carbonation. Don’t remember it as cloudy as this time or as fruity...maybe the keg gave up on life. Anyway, no improvement.
