On tap at King Arthur pub in Ciampino-Rome (Italy). Pours dark brown, coffee bean color, ivory cap. Nose: tangerine, hidden roasted. Mouth: citric, crispy bitter, balanced.

0,33l bottle at home from trade with Zakoon. Bottled 02/2015, BB 02/2016. black color, small dark coffee-colored head. smells of licorice, light roast, light grass, lychee, some earthy notes, light ash, light notes of resin. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of licorice, light sweetness, some roast, coffee, cocao, a bit earthy, has a bit of a salt like quality towards the finish, some grass and light resin notes. finishes rather dry with some roast and notes of grass and licorice. wow, very nice one, great creamy mouthfeel. great drinkability. although not fresh this one held up very good.

Bottle from Kihoskh. Hazy very dark brown with a lasting light brown head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt and moderate hoppy - fruity and citrus. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter ifnish. 250915

Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 29.08.15. Ebony. Pale, brown head and lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, pine and vanilla. Taste of roasted barley, dark chocolate, vanilla and bitter grapefruit. A bit thin mouthfeel.

Flaske fra Kihoskh, delt med Ovesen på Holmens aktivitetsdag: brunsvart med fint beige skum. Aroma: furunål, grapefrukt og kaffe/røstet malt. Smaken likeledes, og den er lekkert balansert. Slank, og med avrundet bitterhet i ettersmaken. Raske leker (lekre saker).

Bottle @ SBWF 2014. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty hoppy aroma. Roasted malty hoppy piney chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty hoppy bitter caramel finish.

On tap at Hoppy Days. Almost black colour, beige head. Aroma of grapefruit, liquorice, roasted malts, chocolate, quite hoppy. Flavour is creamy, chocolate, liquorice, roasted malts, citrusy hops, grapefruit bitter finish. Medium-bodied, drinks really easy. Very good.

Bottled at SBWF. Hazy dark brown, small head. Tropical fruits and chocolate dominate the aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Lychee and chocolate pudding. Mid bitter finish. Very aromatic.

Sample at SBWF 2014. Black with a tan head. Fresh aroma of hops, grapefruit, some resin, chocolate and licorice. Similar taste. The finish was bitter. Not bad at all.
