Bottle from Beergium. Aroma is bready malt, ripe - almost dried - fruits, yeast, sweet apricot, ripe nectarine, caramel, some alcohol, spicy notes. Flavour is rather sweet with a little bitterness in the finish. Some more alcohol in the flavour. Body is above medium. A bit boozy and sweet and hardly world class, but a nice slow sipper Tripel.

Bottle at the Hoppy Loft. Golden colour, quite translucent. Small thin white head. Aroma is classic Belgian tripel, very sweet smelling with a little bit of spice and a touch of caramel malt. Nice and soft taste, quite boozy and a little bit fruity, orange I think. Initial tripel sweetness mellows to a mildly spicy finish. Nice beer with an amazing label. --- Beer merged from original tick of Belgian Tripel on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7. Aus der Flasche 2017-01 getrunken. Ein sehr gutes aber auch sehr typsiches Abbey Tripel. Ein feines Teil!

Bottle. Golden pour. Aroma of yeast, ester, malt, apple and mild funk. Taste has yeast ester, malt, apple, sugar, creamy oat, spices and a sweet somewhat boozy finish. Solid.

Tap at Mikkeller Tokyo. Yeasty nose with some light floral honey, malt and orange marmalade. Good carbonation with an medium to medium-heavy body. Slight sticky mouthfeel. A little sweeter than I like my tripels, but still good fruit and carbonation. Not bad.
