“The union of wheaty freshness and dark malt often produces a fullness of taste and complexity”, explains the world-famous English beer commentator Michael Jackson. This also applies to the Ayinger Urweisse, which is a strong amber-colored, yeast cloudy wheat beer. The beer is strong with the first taste and malty in aroma. The top-fermented, yeasty taste sensation is unmistakable. This beer is rich in sparkle and has just a touch of a special bitter quality. The fruity, malty mild aroma will have you won you over immediately!

Draft @ Biercab BCN.

Bottle. Best Dunkleweisse beer I have had. Dark amber color. Smells fruity with just a little touch of spice. Taste is similar to smell. Fruity with the same slight touch of spice with a malt finish. I’m not sure but I don’t think Ayinger can make a bad beer.

Tap @ Både &. Hazy dark orange/amber body with a nice, foamy off-white head. Nice aroma of citric fruit, toffee, bread, banana, yeast and a little spicy. Flavor is smooth, sweet, not too sweet malt, mild toffee, hint of honey, bread, banana, light estery yeast, some dry fruit and spices. Really nice balance in flavors, nice balanced body, smooth aftertaste. A true classic, very tasty and a fine, moreish thirst quencher.

Aroma of wheat, malt, banana, yeast, clove, spicy notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with a light bitter finish. Potent and full body for a German Weizen. Pretty good, especially for the style.

500ml bottle at home. Yeasty pale golden brown pour with a large off white head. Nose is banana and clove with brown sugar notes, toffee or caramel. Flavour is dominated by the banana and spice with a bready/biscuity backbone. Smooth and rounded mouthfeel
