Second rate for this beer, from Amstein. The weather was so hot yesterday and this one was welcomed at night. Nice and well brewed ipa with an Irish touch of red ale, smooth, malty, hint of toffee, a bit fruity, classical bitterness, bready, good.

Cloudy amber pour, two finger frothy off-white head, long lasting, broken lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, toasted caramel, herbal and grassy notes, floral, citrus peel. Medium body, medium carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, chewy, slightly fizzy. Easily drinkable. Nicely balanced bittersweet taste. Malty aroma, toasted caramel, rye bread, ripe fruits, citrus peel. Herbal and grassy notes, light spice, earthy notes in the background. Medium lasting finish, dry, lingering bitterness. Good.
