The very best raw materials, a long maturation and the lightness of the water from the Biella Alps have, since 1846, given this beer a satisfying and refined taste profile. Gold with white frothy head that leaves lacing. Aroma of malts, earthiness and hops. Medium body and carbonation. Taste is sweet malts, grass and a slight bitterness. Its ok and better than most premium lagers I’ve tried so far.

11.2 ounce bottle from Woodman's Oak Creek, 2/8/20. Clear amber, thin fizzy white head, fair retention. Aroma of strong skunk, grain. Taste is much the same with some cardboard and raisin. Thin. Just a typical shitty foreign lager with a fancy label.

330ml bottle. Pours clear gold with a mdeium-sized white head. Aroma is grass, bread and malt. Taste is light sweet, malt, grassy. Clean and bland lager.

On tap at La Posada in Corniglia. Pours clear, golden color, with a medium, frothy, white head. The aroma is honey, rosemary, caramel, and vanilla. Sweet and malty, with a mild bitterness. Crisp, clean and a little yeasty.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold color with a giant white head and excellent retention. Good lacing. Soft and creamy mouthfeel. Smooth and clean lager flavor yet somewhat generic. No Euro skunk. Serviceable but forgettable.

Bottle from Douberd, thanks! Blonde. Hints of bread, grass and apple in the aroma. Thinnish. malty bready soft grassy flavor with apple. Not too bad.
