Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from The City, Plaistow, NH. Appearance is clear, golden yellow-orange with decent sparkle, 1.5 finger-width foamy white head with fair retention and nice leggy lacing. Aroma is citrus and fruit/cherry, dank resin, along with slight candied sugar and bready malt backbone. Taste is dank, musty bitterness, earthy, with subtle citrus, fruit, vegetal. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with slick texture, soft-to-average carbonation and dry, dank, resiny bitter finish. Overall, the aroma held much promise but the taste was not as complex, and was dominated by dank bitter. Solid but not spectacular.

Nagy, tartós hab, borostyán szín. Nehéz, citrusos, déligyümölcsös illatok. Lágy, krémes déligyümölcsös, barackos, citrusos ízvilág, kissé karcos fenyős keserűvel és némi gyantával. Testes, mégis könnyen itatja magát, erősen szénsavas, nagyon keserű. Igazi gyümölcskavalkád, feltűnően krémes lágyságát karcos keserű ellenpontozza. Finom sör.

(Bottle) Pale amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of resin, citrus, grapefruit peel, mandarin, honey and floral/resiny hops. Malty, hoppy taste with mandarin, tropical fruit (pineapple, mango, lychee), grapefruit, resin, honey and quite a bitter finish with lots of resiny hops. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Not really very balanced, quite bitter and a bit boozy after a while. But really tasty, with an impressive hop presence. Very nice.

Solid old-style IBU-packed West Coast IPA, bitter hop forward and mildly ganja-ish. Starts with a slice of toast slathered with orange marmalade, then gains a mineral heaviness backed up by a grassy hop middle. Finishes dry and bitter, pinecone blending with lemon zest and a mild boozy punch. Tasty, and surprisingly deep considering the weak nose.

Nice enough! Pleasing hop nose, some citrus, indistinct tropical fruits (in that I can’t really name them but it still seems tropical), a little resin, a little locker room. Flavor is candied up front, not cloying, with candied citrus and pineapple. Soft but full mouthfeel. Finishes with resin and bitterness. One of the more drinkable double IPAs I’ve had, though of course the full candied malt profile reminds a bit of a "strong ale" or barleywine, but who cares. Golden color, modest head and lacing.
