Bottled. A hazy yellow beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of lemons, over ripe fruits, malt, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, over ripe fruits, hay, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Draft @ Pivo & Burger Fest Oct’16, Ljubljana. Orange, col blanc crémeux. Arôme au nez léger centré sur els houblons, fruité léger avec les agrumes, malt en retrait. Palais présente une effervescence modérée mais où les 8% sont bien notes. Le tout est assez huileux avec un caractère abricot et agrumes et un léger mandarine. Pour moi, l’effervescence est un peu trop faible. Petrite note de sucre résiduel sur la fin, fruits confits avec un fini épicé de la levure.

Shared bottle. Golden color with a fluffy white head. Aroma of tropical fruit. Taste is tropical fruit, citrus, caramel and pine. Moderately bitter finish with some sweetness. Solid DIPA.

Pours dark copper from the bottle. Opaque. Lots of visible lacing and a creamy head round out the optic. Aroma is loads of citrus. The caramel scents remain almost hidden behind the tropical boquet. Taste is pineapple, grapefruit, peppery spice. The spice takes over in the finish, which is dry, warming, and refreshing all at the same time. Full bodied and robust. Someone in Slovenia has been doing their homework. This is an excellent (d)ipa and worlds away from the Union and Laska Pivos that dot most of the shelves here. Excellent.

Tasting at Ljubljana Beer & Whiskey Festival 2015. Hazy orange, light head. Orange zest and citrus aroma. Sweet. Full body, alcohol hidden. Very good.

Bottled at Sir William’s, Ljubljana. Cloudy amber, rich firm head. Perfumy lychee aroma. Mid sweet with full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Grapefruity lychees, somewhat subdued by caramelly sweetness. Creamy tropical fruits and white pepper. A relaxed, unusually harmonious DIPA. While this is the last bottle from the pubs shelves, and it is just on the edge of its expiry date it remains really tasty. Pelicon rocks!

Bottle in Pivopija Beer shop in Novi Beograd Serbia. Totally cloudy pour, cookie color, medium off white foam. Nose: tropical, some residual resin, malt persistency. Quite nice. Mouth: quite chaotic, sweet fruity, herbal hint, confusing. Dry finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap @Mad for Beer (Rome). Pours golden, a bit unclear, with a little but persistent white head. Aroma is fruity with resin and pine notes, malt. Flavour is medium malty with a medium bitter end, some roots inv the end. Medium body, medium carbonation. Ok.
