V kraft pivovarstvu domišljija ne pozna meja, a včasih je niti ne potrebujemo, saj je treba pivo zvariti po začrtani poti, ki jo veleva gabarit stila. V nekaterih primerih nad ustvarjalnostjo prevlada natančnost in poznavanje meja. Govorimo o klasičnih stilih piva, ki ti v tiraniji prevelike izbire ponudijo uteho domačnosti in zavetja enostavnih odločitev. Mednje spada tudi klasika kraft sveta — pale ale.
Yes Boss je lahkoten zvarek, ki preseneti s sadnim vonjem po citrusih in kokosu, ter poboža s prijetno genčico. Šefovski pale ale, ki vsebuje novo sorto slovenskega hmelja Styrian (savinjski) Wolf. Po barvi in alkoholu lepo sledi začrtanim smernicam stila, a celota je unikatna in prijetna. S kombinacijo hmeljev smo dosegli edinstven okus, ki izziva druge pivovarje, da ga kopirajo. Prijetno karamleno telo in kratka grenčica pa kar sama poskrbita, da se kozarec sprazni.

Bottle. Minimal label (only white with black text) and divergent bottle choice reminds me of The Kernel beers. Color: Hazy orange amber, white head. Aroma: Hoppy, citrus. Taste: Hoppy with malty background. Moderate bitterness, going toward over moderate at dry-ish finish. Bread notes. Subtle orange, grapefruit. Medium body, just ober average carbonation. A little bit over carbonated but ok overall.

Bottle 500ml @Urban Piqniq, Koper. Clear amber colour and small white head. Caramel, grain, light breadyness in the nose. Light-bodied. Flavour is similar, pale malts, caramalt, grassy hops. Tolerable.

Bière 50 cl bue au cafinho sur le nord de mer à Piran, Slovénie. Robe dorée transparente, rien de très joli visuellement. Nez superbe sur le houblon frais, l'écorce d'agrume, jus de pamplemousse, fruits exotiques, la résine de pin. Bouche à l’attaque fruitée, finale sur l’amertume es agrumes, sympa. (M)

Finally 😂 on tap at Craft Beer Weekend, Opatovina, Zagreb. Hazy golden, small off-white head. Fresh citrusy hops, tangerine, zest, citrus oil. Biscuity malts. Hoppy flavour. Good balance. Grapefruity finish. Light bitterness. Light body.

Bottle, 0.5l. Hazy orange/copper pour, two finget frothy white head. Pretty good retention, long lasting, nice lacing as it goes down. Nose is nicely balanced, solid malty background paired with herbal character and notes of tropical fruits. Medium body, medium carbonation. Average mouthfeel and texture, slightly creamy. Mild bittersweet taste with a bit more pronounced bitterness in the aftertaste. Still, sweet on the tongue. Aroma is medium malty with lots of herbal and fruity notes. Slight milkshake notes. Tropical fruits, pine, citrus. A bit sticky. Floral and herbal. Medium lasting finish, dry. Solid beer with potential for improvement. Feels a bit empty somewhat. Still, ok.

On tap at Lajbah, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out floral hops and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with floral hops and crisp biscuity malt. Floral and crisp, with low bitterness. Solid.

(draught at Baderbräu, Schnaitsee) Almost clear, golden colour with a blond and short foamy rim. Fruity hoppy aroma with loads of grapefruit, also citrus, shades of grass and herbal spice, mildly malty background. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with an almost tame carbonation. Dry (cara-)malty base with fruity and delicately spicy hops, mildly tropical sweetness in the background; moderately hop bitter and delicately sweet finish with a pronounced fruity and slightly exotic hoppy tail. Tap at Baderbräu Schnaitsee. Slightly opaque golden color with white head. Aroma is grapes, tropical fruts, Fruchtgummi, grassy, a bit earthy. Taste is grapefruits, marmalade, grassy, dill, earthy, tropical fruits, touch of toasted malts. Bitter finish. Natural carbonation, soft oily mouthfeel. Very good!
