0.35 l fancy bottle shared with little Dina. Deep dark amber colour, diminishing off-white head. Intense fruity aroma, dried fruit, berries, ripe banana, ripe fruit, caramel, malts, light toasted notes. Sweet. Some alcohol. Fermenting fruit in the flavour. Plum, cherry or similar stone fruit. Some spice. Strong. Slightly perfumy. Moderate carbonation. Oily. Finishes quite sweet with a spicy bitter touch. Moderately lasting finish. Not very rich, a bit boozy and perfumy, other than that quite nice.

355ml bottle from Auchan Market in Luxembourg city in Luxembourg. F: big, tan, good retention. C: dark brown with coppery hue against the light, almost clear. A: malty, bit cherries, red fruits, caramel, bit chocolate, toast. T: medium malty base, bit red berries, strawberries, red fruits, caramel, bit watery feeling for such strong beer, candy touch, quite funny all together and not for Belgium style at all yet not bad, enjoyable.

Pours hazy, darker chestnut brown/coppery, topped with a large and fomay, thought fairly quickly settling offwhite head. Milder nose, slightly yeasty, some spices and some pleasant biscuity notes. Some notes of dry fruits more in the back, perhaps. Taste medium yeasty, gently malty sweet, biscuity and chocolate. Slightly spicy in the finish, with medium alcohol warmth, initially even slight burn, but not in an unpleasant way.

330ml bottle. Clear, chestnut colour with small to averge, frothy, diminishing, beige head. Sweet-ish, fruity aroma, notes of plum, raisin, raspberry, minimally bready and toasty, malty basis. Taste is moderately sweet dark malty and fruity, minimally toasty, bready and chocolately, hints of dried fruit and dark berries, minimally leafy-spicy overtones; warming hints of alcohol in the finish.
