Bolleke De Koninck was first brewed in 1952 by Modeste Van Den Bogaert. It's officially a 'Special Belge beer', a Belgian reaction to the upcoming Pilsners. It became the most popular beer of Antwerp (city). The name officially changed from 'De Koninck APA' to 'Bolleke De Koninck' in August 2019. The original recipe was restored by Sven Dekleermaeker.

250ml bottle from DB Supermarket in Beernem. Pours red/brown with a white head. Aromas & tastes of fruits, caramel, grain, hints of spice, yeast & malt. Moderate to medium body. Sweet finish.

Ambre léger, col fin crémeux blanc-cassé.
Bière surfant sur un rappel de la Palm avec un caractère plus houblonné - belle note de malt toasté.
Reste assez basique mais je trouve le tout encore assez plaisant à boire surtout avec le caractère malté - caramel, toasté qui domine tout en ayant assez de traits d'une ambre belge. Petite note de sucre cara et une finalité houblonné sur le fruité/floral et léger terreux.

pours a dark orange color, small head that doenst last very long. Big yeast notes in the nose, along with some slight citrus. flavour i find is unbalanced between the yeastiness, and a spicy notes that is comming through, hmmm, i’m not liking this that much, Its decent and well made, but doesnt suit me.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso viene attratto dal fruttato. La finezza olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma dalla buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il liquido è di apparenza velata. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è normale e la permanenza è sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di caramello, miele, frutta secca, pane cotto di recente, un accenno di resinoso e agrumi.

Аромат вполне нормальный и обычный, немного карамели, солод в целом, есть хмелевые нотки на оттенке вместе с травами. Вкус снова с карамельном оттенке, но не жареном а с дымком. При глотке легкие травы снова и хмель европейский. В целом питко и нормально.
