Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Malt, caramel, roast, ash and licorice in the aroma. Malty sweet caramelly toffee flavor with roast. Well carbonated. Still mellow and friendly. Toffee finish.
Nail polish overpowers everything at first. Goes to your head rather quickly. Thanks Edo.

0.33 l bottle from 'Biermuda', best before August 2018. Black with a medium large, fluffy, slowly diminishing, light brown head. Sweetish-malty, moderately roasty aroma of cocoa, hazelnut, some coffee and hints of vanilla. Quite sweet, malty, moderately roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, some hazelnut and a touch of licorice, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter, earthy-dry finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent Stout, well done!

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, dark amber to brown colour with a beige and diminishing frothy head. Moderately roasted malty and slightly earthy aroma with notes of dark chocolate, mocha and hints of liquorice. Mildly sweet and slightly roasty bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Roasty and slightly earthy malty base with present notes of chocolate and lighter hints of liquorice and coffee; moderately dry and roasted malty finish with notes of chocolate in the aftertaste. Not very complex but still well-made. 24.VI.17

Buddel:Deep chestnut-amber coloured, hazy, quickly collapsing loose off-white head; moderate sweet toasty/roasty-caramelly finish with traces of coffee-powder; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, relatively light bodied, at least pretty soft; slightly lingering and a bit drier toasty-caramelly finish with a balancing bitterness in the aftertaste. Nothing wrong with it. A brave little Stout...
