Bolleke De Koninck was first brewed in 1952 by Modeste Van Den Bogaert. It's officially a 'Special Belge beer', a Belgian reaction to the upcoming Pilsners. It became the most popular beer of Antwerp (city). The name officially changed from 'De Koninck APA' to 'Bolleke De Koninck' in August 2019. The original recipe was restored by Sven Dekleermaeker.

Аромат вполне нормальный и обычный, немного карамели, солод в целом, есть хмелевые нотки на оттенке вместе с травами. Вкус снова с карамельном оттенке, но не жареном а с дымком. При глотке легкие травы снова и хмель европейский. В целом питко и нормально.

Bottle. Clear amber with a nice white head. Aroma of stewed fruits, malts, nuts and caramel. Taste of malts, red fruits, bread, toffee and herbs. Strong bitterness. Medium carbonation. Very balanced and highly sessionable. Lovely.

Bottle from Beer merchants online. It pours Reich reddish - brown with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, brown bread, ryvita, toffee / caramel, nutty, peanut brittle malt loaf and fruit cake. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, brown bread, nutty, ryvita, burnt toast, malt loaf, toasted fruit cake, earth, touch leafy and some cacao and coffee with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Rounded and moreish. Better than expected, very drinkable.

Bottle 33 cl. Light amber color, yellowish foam. Aroma: sweetish, caramel, bready, malty, a little spicy. Taste: sweetish, caramel, toasted toast, a little jam and nuts, slight bitterness, pretty good.
