Frothy light beige head left a cover on a dark marmalade coloured body. Syrup, jam, malt & demerara aroma. Full-bodied, greasy, cloying & oily on the palate with a clean sharp finish. Heavy malt tastes with syrup, sugar, stewed fruit, pith & citrus tastes with a tangy finish.

Bottle at home from Sterk, Amsterdam, 22nd December 18. Pours a clear chestnut colour, aroma is caramel, marzipan, dark fruit, fudge. Taste is smooth, liquor, cararmel, booze, almond. Very nice sipper.

Bottle. Color: Copper, tan head. Aroma: Sweet malty, hints of caramel and fudge. Taste: Medium to over medium sweet light roasted malt, caramel, fudge, brown sugar, molasses. Notes of vanilla and wood. Very lightly bitter, some more bitterness at finish. Sirupy. Above medium body, low carbonation. Pretty sweet, but nice one.

IN der Nase holzig, Trauben, Bourbon. Ebenso im Trunk, dabei cremig, hohe Drinkability. Mittig Malz, Sherry, hinten leichte Süße, angenehme Wärme. Lecker.

helder rood/amber/koper met licht getinte kraag. aroma van mout, toffee, en caramel, smaken van graan, alcohol, redelijk zoet, matig bitter, toffee, mout, overall erg veel graan, hout, beperkt.

Tap (Kontynuacja, Wrocław). Miedziane z drobniutka, bardzo trwałą pianą w kolorze ecru. Ciemne owoce, karmel w aromacie. W smaku rządzi słodka wanilia ale tylko na początku i dopiero gdzieś dalej pojawiaja karmel i owoce. Na finiszu delikatny, drewniany posmak beczki, przyjemnie ściągający z wyraźną nutką alkoholu ale wpasowywujaca się w piwo.

Bottle 33 CL. Amber, hazy with a medium offwhite head. Aroma of malt, caramel, spices and hops. Sweet taste, light bitterness with a warm sweet malt and caramel end.
