Bottle. Almost black and opague. Creamy milk chocolate in the aroma. Thinnish. Creamy milk chocolate and roasted malt in the flavor. Sweetish, just a hint of ash. Onedimensional, but quite pleasant.

On tap at El Deposito Roma, pours a pretty much opaque black with some sticky, lacing beige head. Nose is solid, malt, toast, some burnt caramel, bread, nutty. Flavor has more malt, some molasses now, bread, caramel, clear roasted almond. Finishes dry, a bit more than full bodied. Nicely made.

355ml bottle. Pours an unclear dark brown with amber edges and a small, creamy, short lived, tan head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate, licorice and bitter coffee in a dry, slightly sour finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Simple, but this was actually good. Exceeded my expectations.

12 oz bottle poured at Wing Army, Playa Del Carmen. Jet black pour, quite thick. In the sun, this one would probably be a sipper, but in the cool, dimly lit restaurant, it is quite enjoyable. Plenty of tan foam head that lasts. Actually listed as a sweet stout on the menu here, but it couldn't get much more dry if you ask me. Soft coffee like bitterness behind a soft dark chocolate. First few sips I was put off by a metallic linger, but I didn't seem to pick it up much later into enjoying this brew. Good roast late palate. Good stout.

Clear, dark brown to black colored, medium frothy tan head. Aroma is of some malt, but mostly quite roasty and more burnt notes, ashtray. Taste is medium sweet malt, bit caramel, some coffee, loads of burnt notes and ashtray, medium bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Just overly roasty...

Thanks Ivan P.! Riight... so they changed the name from Stout Imperial to Stout. About time. Pretty much black, respectable. The aroma has chocolate notes mixing with this weird roastiness, sweetish and rounded out with a blast of canned corn... soo... DMS? Roasty chocolate taste, extremely roasty. Daring and respectable in every way but they slightly overdid it here - reminding people of overly burnt coffee etc. Oh well. The beer had issues and I'll try to try it again.

Some roast and light caramel. Black pour with decent head and lacing. Light sweet and bitter finish. Ok but more like a schwarzbier than an imperial stout. Bottle from el estadio in Cancun.

From a bottle at the RateBeer gathering 9/9/16. Thanks to Solidfunk! It is a dark brown collie with a slight head. The aroma is roasted coffee and the taste is a slightly bitter flavor of coffee and hints of cocoa Bitter roast finish.
