Bottle from Luvians Cupar. It pours crystal clear gold with a frothy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, doughy, soft honey, grass, cereal, honeycake and biscuit. The taste is crisp, dry, pretty clean, biscuit, bready malt, soft sweetness, hint of lemon curd, spice, cereal, honeycake, grass and cracker with minimal alcohol presence with a dryish finish. Medium body and soft, fluffy carbonation. Rounded and moreish. Nice one.

Gold with a foamy, white head of moderate duration. Grainy aroma with apple & pear hints—the latter being the highlight here. Taste is grainy bitter, stale, slightly metallic. Finishes metallic with a hint of booze. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Uninspired. Goes down like like a slightly boozy Helles.

On tap at Cajt. Clear golden with medium white head. Malty and sweet. Light bodied. Way too sweet for me.

.5l in Munich. Ceramic mug, big cap of white head. Nose is bread and honey, malt, some orange candy. Flavor is malt and yeast and dough and honey. Creamy finish. Solid.

I had this during Oktoberfest, back in 2003, and have just found my notes. So it's actually like time-traveling! One liter pour from the wood in a big dimpled mug that somehow you get to handle with just one hand after a few sips, even standing up in the middle of the crowd. A copperish to golden pour crowned by a huge, egg-white head that doesn't last too long, to my surprise. Mild aromas of porridge, bread and some citrus. Easy-going, light, low body. Slightly sweet, balanced, not really bitter nor long-lingering. Very easy to drink.

0,5 bottle. Rendkívül régies üveg és cimke :) VIlágos arany szín, szép fehér habbal, átlagos kinézet. Egy picit intenzívebb sima helles illat. Szénsav teljesen rendben. A hab eltűnt hamar, az alkohol megette... Testesebb íz, maláta hangsúly, de van benne kis keserűség és fűszeresség is. Klasszikus német sör. Nekem annyira nem kedvenc, de elképzelem hogy be lehet ettől állni nagy mennyiségben október után :) Számomra egyszerű, hiba nélküli erős lager.

Extremely old glass and label :) Light gold color with nice white head, average look. A slightly more intense smooth hell aroma. Carbonic acid is absolutely fine. The foam disappeared quickly, the alcohol ate it ... More full-bodied taste, malt emphasis, but it also has a bit of bitterness and spiciness. Classic German beer. It is not so much my favorite, but I imagine that it is possible to stop it in large quantities after October :) For me, it is a simple, flawless strong lager.
