Tap. Golden color with white head. Aroma is grassy hops, citrus, lemony, a bit peppery. Taste is more grassy hops and lemons, some toasted malts. Bitter dry finish. Crisp and good.

Jan. ’16. On tap at the brewpub, clear amber colored with medium sized head. Fresh unpasteurized hops aroma, especially lemon. Also malty like vanilla and peach. Bitter hop flavor, citra, lemon, also spicy peppery with biscuit malt lightly balancing it out. Medium body with longer dry herbal and lemony finish. Fruity and biscuity. Quite nice.

Bei den angelsächsischen Bierstilen kann man dem 1516-Braumeister nichts vormachen. Nachdem die Kellnerin mir auf Englisch erklärte, dass die Leitung tot sei, widersprach ihr eine Kollegin auf Deutsch, dass es jetzt wieder geht. Also bestellte ich mir auf Englisch ein Slipper, da ich das als angebrachter hielt (so wie ich das 1516 Weisbier auf Deutsch bestellt habe). Das Bier ist wirklich gut. Es hat die süffigen malzigen Aromen eines Hellen und dazu feine aromatische Hopfennoten wie man es von amerikanischen Pale Ales kennt. Das ist fein harmonisch und erzeugt ein tolles Mundgefühl.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours orange to yellow colour with a nice white head. Aroma of fresh hops, citrus and pines. Taste of hops, fruits like citrus and peaches, pines and light malts. Medium bitterness, light to medium carbonation. Very refreshing.

Tap at the brewpub. Very easy drinking, hops centered beer. Classic refreshin pale ale. Citrusy hops flavours, zesty, some herbal, light dill. Quite tasty and good.

On Tap at the brewbub. Goldgelbes Bier mit einer mittelgroßen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch gering hopfig, leicht fruchtig, getreidig. Geschmack angenehm hopfig, gering bitter, helle Früchte, süffig.

From tap. Pours cloudy golden orange with a small ff white head. Aroma is fruity, light overripe. Toasted malty. Fruity, light unclean. Fruity, citrusy and peachy. Mild milky.bitter and fruity finish.
