Draft. Wow, a very clean tasting weiss. Not a whole lot of acidity and very clean, not a lot of aftertaste. Great beer.

Bottle. I was little disappointed with this beer. Maybe it was because of all the other fine tasting beers I was trying a the time but this one didn’t taste so hot. It had an ok taste upfront and in the middle but it had a gorrible after taste.

Bottled. Pours deep golden with white head. Apart from the usual banana and yeast there are some honey, hops and spicy notes in aroma. In taste it’s banana-honey sweet with underlying bitterness to it. Complex, delicious beer.

Great cloudy orange pour withan ample frothy head. Wicked intense aroma of ripe banana, cloves and some wonderful yeasty esters. Flavor is very fullbodied and loaded with banana, cloves and some bubblegum. Outstanding example of the style the higher alcohol really gives it and extra kick and I think hightens the aroma and flavors

Bottiglia.

Bottle at home. Aroma is wheat, yeast, a bit grassy, spicy notes, clove, fruits, hoppy notes. Flavour is light sweet and light bitter with a hint of wheaty sour. Body is medium. Refreshing lightly hoppy Hefe.

Bottle 0,5ltr: Hazy yellow coloured brew with an un-Bavarian taste. Its got more citrus in it,some banana. more bitter than the usual Bavarian Hefeweizen. So even Schneider gets slightlier moderne.

Notes from June 2010 bottle code: 09-111 1-3 0107 2722(huh?) Can't quite pull off a perfect pour just yet. Still a bit shaky, need a couple beers in me first to get the subtle tilt & bottle turn. A couple inches of popmarked, off-white head into a standard weiss glass. Color is an orange honey mix, unfortunately cloudy, but still inviting. Smells starchy & subtly sweet, like good potato bread. Melon rind, unripe peaches, all that good stuff. Nothing overly pronounced or fresh or bold, which is disappointing. Lemon & a touch of staleness just barely come in at the end. First sip is quite tasty! Honey wheat bread & lots of banana & soft floral aspects. Barely a hint of clove, which usually seems to become more predominate in wheat beers as they get older. No pepper that I notice either. Quiet, lettuce-y hops that close out a touch sharp. Creamy & light on carbonation. A bit too thick & filling to drink a pitcher of, even on a hot afternoon. Alcohol goes unnoticed. One of the better hefes I've had, & that's saying a lot, considering it's organic & probably several months old. :)
