Brooklyn Lager, the Brewery's flagship label, is New York's "hometown" beer, brewed to a pre-Prohibition recipe that dates back to the days when Brooklyn was the brewing capital of the East Coast. Wrote Michael Jackson in the Simon & Schuster Pocket Guide to Beer: "The dry-hopped, fresh, flowery, firm, flavourful, Brooklyn Lager started well, in 1988, and has gained in character since."

At Grand Lancy with Fred, since a long time that I didn't try this beer, made in Sweden. A regular one, a lager that it is dry and malty a bit smooth at the final, discreet note of toffee at the final, hop for classical lager, 31.03.21

Ive had a love hate realationship with Brooklyn lager. At first I really disliked this beer, too heavy and always just sits in my stomach. Now I’ve arrived at a detente, it’s ok, will drink if necessary.

Old rating from 2008 - 355ml bottle, pours amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, biscuit, citrus, bread & malt. Moderate body. Dry moderate bitter finish

Bottle. Amber-red in color. Some head. Slight malt and hops but a little watery. Aroma the same.

Bottle shared at work. Copper pour, off-white head. A plrasantly sweet, malt-forward lager with a pretty apparent yet not too overwhelming hoppy character. The bottle wasn’t the freshest, but it was still quite alright.

nice amber color, big full beige head. very very nice hop aroma, nice and floral. There is a great malt backbone, really comes through. Outstanding lager, easily one of my favorites! imagine that a lager with flavour!!!

Grassy aroma of biscuity malts, caramel, bready, light hoppy. Flavour is malty with a nice moderate hoppy bitterness in the finish. Not generally a fan of Lagers, but this one was just what I needed at the time.

Запах в основе солодовый, с легким оттенком груши и яблока. Цвет слегка бледный лагер, пена тонкая, белая. Вкус очень солодовый, имеется легкая фруктовая горчинка. Но само по себе пиво весьма посредственное на вкус.
