On tap at Moeder Lambic, Brussels on 19th January 2018. Cloudy yellow amber with whitish foam and full lacing. Yeasty, citrus aroma. Bitter citrus in-mouth and through the finish. Zingy mouthfeel and a full body.

330 ml. bottle. BBF 20/06/2018. Bit ugly hazy citrus, solid creamy white head. Nose is aspirin, doughy, citrus, grapefruit peel, that dry chalky L’Ermitage yeast I encountered before. Taste is same chalky L’Ermitage yeast, dry, grapefruit peel, aspirin, doughy, they dry yeast, chalky character really makes it work even if the grapefruit is not that big, nicely lingering doughy, dry,… L’Ermitage is doing very nicely with these fruit beers, they really seem to integrate the fruit greatly & their yeast is interesting and works in this context, dry & chalky with no unwanted sweetness. Tasty for sure.
