Röstiger, zu süßer Antrunk. Somit künstlich wirkend, minimal herb, die Röstigkeit wirkt nun verwaschen und nicht wirklich rund, etwas herb, langweilig. Zum Ende süßer aber insgesamt passender, noch leicht würzig. Naja... 13/8/8/7//8

Bottle 330ml. [ As Brauwerk Hausmarke 3: Porter ].[ Courtesy of my Local Swap 2015-1 MisoW ]. Clear dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige - light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, sweet malt, toasted, light roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, roasted, wood, sugary, brown sugar, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150410]

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and roasted moderate bitter finish. 100415

Bottle @ Post-Easter Procrastination, Ulfborg. Pours hazy coffee brown with small white head. Clear aroma of roast, coffee and malt, with some touches of hops. Sweetish, malty and caramellish taste, with roasty notes and touches of coffee. Roasty aftertaste. Rather mild but decent.

Thank you very much, Werckmeister, for this bottle! The beer starts dark and roasty. Easy to drink, but nice dry and dark. Nice bitter aroma among the roast, nice dark malt, smooth but great dry. The aftertaste is long and intense roasty-dry with a subtle sweetness that makes it very drinkable. A great porter!

bottle at home. dark brown color, looks unfiltered. small light brown head. smells of milk, smells creamy, light coffee and chocolate. overall subtle bouquet. light body, roast aromas, coffee, some chocolate, light fizzy on the tongue. light to medium bitterness, later on some surprising red berry notes.

Das Ottakringer Brauwerk versucht sich an kreativen Bierstilen und man will einen Gegenpol zu den Industriebieren aus dem Haus Ottakringer erzeugen. Dieses Porter ist ein gefälliges Porter mit moderar trockenen Schokoaromen und einem Hauch Kaffee. Nicht besonders tiefgründige Aromen, aber dafür sehr gemütlich zu trinken.
