330ml bottle. Jet black colour with minimally late awakening, small, creamy, fading, beige head. Caramel malty and roasty, chocolately, dark malty as well as slightly fruity aroma, notes of dark caramel, some dark chocolate, hints of dark fruit, dried fruit, raisin, a touch of molasses, rum. Taste is roasty, chocolately, dark malty, slightly caramel malty, slightly fruity and minimally spicy, notes of dark chocolate, some dark caramel, cocoa, raisin, a touch of rum, vanilla, some residual sweetness, mild roasty bitterness, well hidden alcohol.
Creamy to viscous texture, smooth and soft minimally cloying palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation.
Homogenous, harmonious, not overly complex; not one of those high-end, sophisticated, multiple times BA, ultra hyped, pricey and exclusive brews, just an unagitated Impy Stout - decent.

Sample at MBCC2024, Copenhagen. Colour is very dark brown with small head. Aromas and flavours: Chocolate, coffee... simple.

Kicsi, nem túl tartós barna hab, fekete szín. Visszuafogott, csokis, kávés, enyhén konyakos illat. Kávés, csokis, kakaóporos ízek, némi aszalt gyümölcsös aromával. Testes, enyhén szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Tipikus stout, de kiváló arányokkal rendelkezik.

Bottle, only 2.5y expired. Darkest brown, small head. Light soy and plum raisin nose, roasted goodness. Cocoa, mild saltiness, mid body and big bitterness. Roasty coffee notes. Quite dry for 12%! I'm curious how it would have been when fresh, definitely still interesting now but different for sure.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, not much head. Aroma is coconut, some toffee, alcohol, raisins and rum. Flavour is rum, raisins, alcohol, some coconut and mild toasted chocolate toffeeish tones with mild roast as well. Quite Lervig like thick alcoholic impy stout.

(bottle 0,33l from beershop.cz online shop) Overall: Sweet, warming, tasty. Raisins, chocolate and alcohol. Good. Aroma: Sweet, raisins, malty, chocolate, later alcohol. Appearance: Dark brown-black color. Quickly done, pale brown head. Taste: Medium sweet, alcohol, spicy, raisins, malty, caramel, chocolate, later vanilla, rum, light roasty. Palate: Medium-full body. Sticky texture. Warm, sweet finish.

Black as hell, with a yellow rim. Sweet, rum, chocolate, dried fruit as prunes. Roast, the sweet raisins, but finishing bitter-burnt. Some cacao, burnt cakecrust, plum/rum pie. Feels very well-bodied, alcoholheat and -thinning. I feared a syrupy sugarbomb, but it turned much better than that. One to try!
