A nice german styled Austrian wheat beer. Not perfect, but still a good example of the style. 1516 Austria

On tap at the brewpub. The colour is hazy straw with a big off-white head. Lots of banana and cloves in the aroma. Wet hay in the background. The flavour is similar but with more hay. Has a slick mouth feel, light to medium body and light bitterness. Decent, and with lots of esters/banana.

Trübe, gelbe Farbe mit ordentlicher, weißer Schaumkrone. Subtiler hefiger, malziger, fruchtiger Geruch nach Bananen und Citrus. Geschmacklich hefig, wiederum süß-fruchtig mit dezenten Aromen nach Banane und Citrus, zum Abgang hin leicht hopfig. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit sanfter Kohlensäure. Lässt sich leicht trinken ohne Höhepunkte.

From the tap at 1516 Brewing Company, Vienna, Austria. Pours very hazy pale, almost canary yellow, with medium fine white foam. Aroma is delicate, with some banana, citrus, peach, tropical fruit. Body is light, without excessive carbonation. Taste is moderately sweet and citrus. Bitterness more or less absent. Finish is average.

On tap at 1516 Brewing Co, Wien. Yellow color, cloudy, big white head. Fresh aroma with citrus, lemon, light wheat, nice grassy hops. Lots of lemon in the finish, quite dry, clean. Moderately yeasty with resin. Taste sweetish and sour. Nice.
