Ein einzigartiges Pils, das es so wohl kein zweites Mal gibt. Gebraut mit einem Sud aus exotischem schwarzen und rosa Pfeffer ist dieses Gewürzbier ein Schmankerl für Freunde außergewöhnlicher Biere. Fruchtige Noten von Mango, Grapefruit und Bergamotte treffen auf eine angenehme Schärfe durch den würzigen Pfeffer. Das Pepper Pils ist das Ergebnis einer Kooperation mit den Craft Beer Brauern von Himburgs Braukunstkeller, die für ihre ausgefallenen Ideen bekannt sind.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with small to average, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Rather weak, peppery spicy aroma, hints of bergamot and black pepper, a floral touch. Taste is floral-spicy, fruity, minimally soapy, notes of bergamot, pink pepper, mandarine zest. The composition works as far as regards taste; aroma and appearance deserve melioration.

0,33 l bottle bought at Craft Beer Kontor, Hannover. An unclear copper in the glass, some sediments, more than one finger frothy head. Fresh citrus on the nose. Taste starts with a mix of pepper and citrus limo. Weird in the first moment. Sweet fruity, less malty, some grain and hop in the second row. Not bad but I expected more.

01-10-16 // on tap at Herbst Craft #3, Frankfurt. Dark hazy orange coloured. Nose is medium pepper. Taste is refreshing with light fruity notes and a mild spicy pepper finish. Pepper dosage on spot.

Bottle from Craft Beer Kontor, Hannover. Fresh and slightly grainy beginning. The beer starts smooth and earthy. The fruity and slightly spicy pepper comes in till the end, adding a nice fruity aspect to the grainy Pils. Very refreshing and floral, nice and not too hot. The aftertaste is moderate bitter, slightly grainy-sweetish in body and floral-fruity of the rosé-pepper. Very nice and interesting brew!
