A Belgian recipe meets the Mediterranean temperament. Coriander and orange mix together for the first time with the Greek wheat and create an unexpected harmony of flavors and aromas. Refreshing, delicate, delicious!

On tap at Athens Beer, pours a clear cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out banana, butyric, and clove. Flavour is unfortunately the same, with banana baby food, some butyric, and cloying sweetness. This is very hard to drink. Not good.

Light haze on this gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth but still has good fine carbonation. Smooth malts, soft and sweetish, they do show a little wheat grain but it's blends in well. Very tangy citrus, lemon sherbet and lemon zest. Floral lemon. Tangy lemony finish. Amusing! Very lemon!

33cl bottle from De Blanck, Nidri, Lefkada: BB 17th Jan 2018. Drank on my hotel room balcony overlooking Nidri Marina on 13th Oct 2017. Cloudy yellow body, white crown. Yeasty, citrusy and salty. Strange but enjoyable Wit beer with enough about it to keep me interested throughout the 33cl.

bottle from bike. bubbly white head. aroma of belgian yeast, wheat, citrus . flavor is fruity, yeasty, faint citrussy, flavor resembles a belgian blonde as much as it resembles a witbier, perhaps even more blonde that witbier. but they got the aroma right.

Bottle from Maltby Street Market London. Hazy gold colour lasting white head. Some esters some veg on the aroma. A little orange a little herb a little soap. Some good orange flavour. Ok carbonation. It’s quite a sweet intense fruity Belgian wit. Challenging but had enough to keep it interesting.

Pours a very hazy yellow color, sunny, topped with a huge and quite staying white head, foamy. Medium spicy aroma, some sweaty wheaty notes and a feel of dry fruits. Quite spicy feel to the taste, actually a bit too much, lots of coriander, and quite yeasty. A bit sweet with some herbal bittery finish. A bit too spicy/yeasty combination for me, but ok.
