Bottle. Malty aroma ans taste, chocolate, roastyness, light coffee notes, lactose, light sweet notes, medium bitter. Medium body, malty chocolate bitter sweet finish with lactose notes. Very good.

Surprised yet happy to find this today in the Moersleutel advent calendar. Absolutely an old classic to me, I fondly remember drinking this in the BeerTemple, Amsterdam back in the day. The nitro can pours out black with a small tan head. Cocoa powder aroma with lactose, light a lightly roasty chocolate milkshake with caramel and fudge notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. The old classic is simple but effective and doesn’t disappoint.

Pours black with a nitrous element. Thick bubbly head. Aroma of nuts, toasted malt, milky sweetness. Taste has wet mouthfeel, taste of nutty malt, light roast, creamy but not decadent. Palate has much of the same, slightly watery but not in a bad way. Good.
