330ml bottle as part of a delivery from Sophie's Beer Store and drunk at home. Mahogany brown with a loose beige head. Surprisingly light aroma with chocolate malt, hazelnut, whisky notes. Sweet taste with more chocolate, raisin, more nutty character leading to a short finish. Flourish of whisky in the aftertaste. Thin body, heavy carbonation. More subtle than many barrel-aged beers. Nice.

330ml bottle sophiesbeerstore.co.uk. Deep brown appearance, beige head. Pleasant nutty whisky aroma. Medium to light bodied, maltloaf and rye bread malt character, good whisky presence, a little spicy, woody, smooth overall with great drinkability. Nice.

330ml bottle. (9.2% ABV) Pours an unclear red-brown with a large, foamy, short lived, beige head that laces. Sweet aroma of bready malt, caramel, plum, fig, date, spice, whisky and oak. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, toffee, dark chocolate, licorice, raisin, date, fig, plum, spice and oak with warming whisky in a dry finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. A nice treat, surprisingly easy to drink.
