This hugely flavourful, yet extremely sessionable Double Dry-Hopped IPA is made with 16 grams per litre of Amarillo, Citra, Mosaic and Centennial hops. Citrus and Tropical fruit notes dominate, but is also balanced with a smooth body that makes this one super easy drinking IPA.

Can at Total Wine, Fairfax: pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is citrusy, dusty herbs. Citrus taste. Low bitterness. Light body and not too sweet.

Super hazy, almost white coloured body, but a rich hazy golden body that looks like a nice raw honey, along with a rich, thick, five to six centimetre tall pure white head that ends up being very soapy and frothy with an ugly lace on the sides. Aroma of grass, hay, flowers, coriander seed, wheat, light grain and a dash of subtle sugars. Light-bodied; Dry, but very herbal and grassy hop notes dominate with a nice light bitterness from the hops, without much alpha acids, but still a crisp and dry bite, showing only a touch of malts and a dry flavour without much sweetness at all - a touch from some softer fructose with a corn like maltiness on the back end. Aftertaste is dry, floral, grassy, herbal and very soft with some subtle sweetness and fruitiness, but mainly just a light, dry, grassy beer with a subtle bitterness, but not much malt to speak of and almost no alcohol noticeable either, but a nice unfiltered glow, for sure. Overall, a nice enough Light IPA that just happens to be unfiltered, but a dry, grassy beer with some subtle bitterness, but very easy-drinking, light alcohol and a good beer if you want a modicum of flavour and one that goes down easily. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 12-June-2020 for US$3,59 sampled at my house here in Washington on 01-October-2020.

30/IX/20 - on tap @ DOK Brewing Company (Ghent, BE), BB: n/a (2020-950)

Cloudy pale blond to light beige beer, small creamy white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: citrus, tropical fruits, some grapefruit, bit dank, very nice! MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: nice bitterness up front, bit watery, citrus, quite some grapefruit, grapefruit peel, bit grassy, pretty dry. Aftertaste: dry finish, more citrus, grapefruit notes, bitter finish, nice one! Very quaffable!

Can (4/17/20) pour. Appearance is opaque dark yellow with no discernible sparkle, thin cap of white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is moderate lemony citrus, melon. Taste is lemony citrus and grapefruit, on the astringent side. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, I suspect age has not been kind to this. It lacks complexity, is not terribly bold but is OK and quite good for a session.

Cloudy blonde, and you can smell the juicy tropical hops and a little resin, all without having to get your nose in there. Feels is a bit thinner, but hey it is a session, robust hops te juicy tropical comes through, but the resin has a stronger flavour than it did in the nose. Very solid session.

Slightly hazy bright yellow-gold color with a medium white head that burns away steadily to a film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of floral hop, citrus and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of grapefruit, mild hops and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.
