A tart strawberry flavored hazy N.E. IPA. In which you can taste strawberries in every sip, strawberry fades but the M-43 Flavor remains.

Can. Hazy whitish yellow, not so much foam on top. Lacto nose with strawberry yoghurt. Light lupulin powder. Tastes huge strawberry, juicy oat NEIPA. If you like fruit IPA's then you probably like that. Touch of strawberry acidity, juicy-fruity. Personally quite enjoying this.

Turbid light amber color. Big sweet strawberry nose, some lactose, but underlying hop character is a bit too subdued. I would call the nose strawberries and cream. Low medium carbonation, low bitterness, modest sweetness and a touch of tartness. The beer is well made but I thought M-43 was an IPA. If that is the case the only thing missing is the Indian Pale Ale character, which I get virtually none of. A touch cloying but not bad. Prefer the original.

Thanks Virby44 for sharing the can! Poured into a taster showing turbid pale gold with sparse white foam. The nose shows pronounced strongly juicy strawberries. The palate is well carbonated and medium bodied. Perfectly integrated but forward strawberry intertwined with guava, kiwi, and pine with a mild bitterness on the finish.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 4/17/2018. Pours opaquely hazy golden orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/lightly tart/tangy strawberries, tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit, white bread dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, strawberry, and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge juicy/lightly tart/tangy strawberries, tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit, white bread dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, grassy, citrus peel bitterness; and fruit tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of juicy strawberries, tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, strawberry, and moderate bready malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/bitterness and fruit tartness balance; with zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and fruit tartness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky/acidic mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.8%. Overall this is an amazing flavored NE IPA. All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, strawberry, and moderate bready malt flavors; extremely smooth and easy to drink with the minimally bitter/drying finish. Amazingly soft spot on mouthfeel for the style. Extremely juicy/lightly dank hops with awesome balance of strawberry flavorings. Perfect malt balance and not overly sweet/heavy for the style. Can't say I prefer it over the base beer. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing style example as expected.
