Blend of different barrels of Even More Jesus.

A few times in the history of craft beer it has happened that a highly praised beer rises beyond mortal stardom into a higher godly league. Usually the recipe to make such heavenly drops is thick fudge-like body, pitch black color, amazingly overwhelming aromas of chocolate, coffee, dark fruits and muscovado sugar and by all means aged in barrels and blended into a this very unique and rare tasting version standing in front of you.

Viscous as discarded motor oil, and looking the part. Smelling dry, but with a hefty Bourbon-vanilla aroma, vanillaflower, booze - mainly Bourbon. And 'some' chocolate. Chocolate, Bourbon. True, 'chocolate' as in top Belgian quality. Little point of stoutacidity. Fiery, full bodied, powerful. Outstanding!

Bottle. Thanks to Jeppe! Pours pitch black with a thick, mocca head. Aromas of some barrel characters, whisky, slight bourbon, some smoke, some coffee beans, dark chocolate, licorice. Taste is pretty roasted up front, lots of ashy notes, slight smoke, licorice, wood, roasted coffee, some fudge, dark sweet fruits, some dark bitter chocolate.

650 ml bottle. 2015 vintage. Pours a thick black with little head. Aromas of rich chocolate, dusty oak, coconut, and spice. Flavors of nougat, dark chocolate, sweet vanilla, Kalhua, coconut, oaky bourbon, and dusty roasted malts. Still a little hot. Incredible

Bottle. A- Soy, chocolate, bourbon. A- Black color, black liquid, minimal head. T- Chocolate sauce, bourbon, soy, oak, subtle coconut. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- A big beautiful rich brew. Reminds me a lot of Bourbon County Stout. Spent my Sunday morning with Jesus. Made for a heck of a breakfast beer. Nicely done.
