De Leffe Royale Cascade onderscheidt zich door een levendig karakter, een intense frisheid en lichte citrustoetsen (citroen en gele pompelmoes). Door het proces van dry hopping is dit goudblond bier een echte IPA.

La Leffe Royale Cascade se démarque par son caractère vif, sa fraîcheur intense et ses notes d’agrumes délicates (citron et pamplemousse jaune). Houblonnée à cru, cette bière à la robe dorée est une véritable IPA, (une «India Pale Ale» est une bière à forte teneur en houblon) de connaisseurs. Draught in Brussels. Deep gold with a minimal head. Aroma of yeast and a little fruit. Flavour is sour hop on Leffe, dry pepper yeast finish.

getrunken im Herbst 2017 am Flughafen Brüssel Eine etwas abstruse Mischung aus IPA und belgischen Ale. Nicht schlecht, aber irgendwie passen die gut komponierten Aromen nicht ganz zusammen.

33 cl bottle served into its proper glassware at Onder den Toren, Keerbergen, Belgium. It pours clean intense golden with pure white non-lasting head. Aroma is porridge, lemon peel, grass. Taste is round, well structured, mouth-covering, not really bitter (for an IPA.) Long finish.

Bottle. Slightly cheesy yeastiness in aroma, disappears later on. Classic trippel apple-saisony spicy yeast profile dominates the flavour, hops more or less lost in the whirlwhind. Okay mass market Belgian.

Bittle kindly donated by Rubin77, many thanks. Golden color with small white head. Aroma of malt, candies, pear. Taste, malt, candies, pear, very light hops.

Bottle at Erzbierschof Monday Club. Pours clear golden. Aroma is candy, phenolic, malts. Almost no hop flavours. Body is medium, still candy, sweet, soft carbonation. Dirt, minerals. Medium palate. Not an IPA, and doesn’t work.

Flaske 330ml på rom 2704 - Thon Brussels City Centre 10 Mar 17 i hyggelig selskap. Gyldenbrun. Lavt kritthvitt skum. Lett krydderaroma. Smaken klementin & krydder. Holder seg syrlig.
