Released 12/21/18. For our third DDH Tell Tale Evo (v3) release, we included a generous addition of Amarillo to our Citra/Mosiac double dry hop. We also used English ale yeast instead of our house yeast, Chico.

Few quarantine brews while watching foreign Netflix shows so my kids doesn’t understand the swearing. Hazy straw colored with puffy head. Nose is citrus and dusty dry hops. Tastes of grass, lemon, apricot, raw pizza dough, light green onion. Low bitters.

Draft at Southern Grist 3rd Anniversary. Pours a hazy gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Big bright citrus aromas with peach and light strawberry aromas. Pungent and dank on the palate with spritzy carbonation and citrus pith.

Pours hazy gold into a shaker. Bright white head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Mild topical fruit aromas. Soft with sourdough and lemon upfront turning to bitter earth in the lasting finish.

Sticker on top of the 4 pack read 12-21-18. So this is EVO 3. Pours a near clear deep gold color. Aroma shows mild unripe fruit, yeast, slight herbal tone. Flavor reflects subtle citrus, peach and a sweet grain hint. English yeast gives this a totally different feel from the original. I perfer the original much more.
