A deep dark stout with a thick collapsing lacing light brown head. In aroma, smooth molasses, chocolate, with vanilla, bourbon barrel, quite nice if simple. In mouth, a smooth sweet chocolate with nice roasted notes, mocha coffee, vanilla notes and warming alcohol. On tap at brewpub, Nov. 11 2011.
