Photon is our light and crushable American Pale Ale loaded with pacific northwest hops. It pours a very hazy orange, releasing well-blended notes of apricot, tangerine, peach, mango, and pineapple. It tastes of soft juicy tropical fruits, hop resins, and a hint of biscuit. A smooth rounded bitterness with a touch of dryness ensures you’re ready for the next sip. This drinking experience is further enhanced with a soft and billowy mouth-feel that has made this the go to ale for the Equilibrium crew, especially when a productive day needs to follow a fun night.

Can shared. Pours a hazy gold with a full finger of white foam that lingers. Good dank nose with dragon fruit, papaya and mango aromas. Lowish carb with a creamy texture. Durian, lychee and citrus pith finish. Not overly bitter, but some light prickly bitterness on the finish.

Draught at Ginger Man, 4/7/18.
Heavily hazy, peach-maize-golden. White head to ring.
A bit sharp and tangy to kick things off, but the juiciness enters the mix quickly, as well. There's a touch of light caramel and various bready grain behind it all that I don't love. No alcohol or flaw and little/no resin. Grapefruit and tangerine dominate with light pine and green, vegetal suggestions.
Tangy tangerine opens the flavor with strong floral and perfume notes mixing with moderate grain character. Becomes sharp and rather overly dry. Thankfully, it does soften nicely over time and begins to show a bit of mango-lime-like juiciness. Very good and with the typical high level of execution that makes this brewery great. Carbonation is perfect. Still, a bit on the twangy and bitter side, though if it's all PNW hops, that seems a bit more forgivable.

Keg at HL3, 22/06/18. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is melon, tangerine, light brioche, juicy citric pith, sweet malts, juicy hop aroma. Taste comprises orange pith, light pine, mango, faint yeast murmur, grapefruit, toasted malts, soft breads, pineapple. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with resinous hop bitterness. Decent pale.
