Pilsner hopped with nelson, perle, & hallertau blanc.
Our latest pilsner blends perle + hallertau blanc + nelson into an uplifting conversation of bright key lime, sparkling white grape cider, and overripe passion fruit, at an encouraging 4.2% to boot. We can all use a PEP TALK now and then, can’t we?
Tasting Notes: perle, hallertau blanc, nelson

Not as crisp and clean as you want a pils, earthy and grainy, lacking strong floral notes and the grassy, bright finish the style requires. Still interesting, though, with white grape and tropical notes ambling among an herbal pungency and lemongrass in the fade. Drinkable, but not particularly exciting.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a clear straw to lemon color with a finger of white foam that dissipates. Huge Nelson Sauvin forward nose with gooseberry, ugli fruit and dank aromas. Underneath that the Perle comes out with some lemony grassy character. Crisp and clean with refreshing carbonation. Bone dry on the palate with lots of dank, gooseberry and Nelson notes again. Some twigs and faint green, leafy hops. Finishes dry and quick. Not bad and I love Nelson, but not sure how it works here without the malt backbone. Fun though.
