22-02-17 // bottle shared at home.

37,5 cl Bottle kindly shared by Maakun at the beach. Slight hazy golden with short lasting white head. Hay, grapes, berries, citrus fruity, funk, cheese, mineral-like. Mild sour and sweaty funk and minerallike saltiness. Medium body, soft carbonation and minerallike texture. Rich aroma, quite nice!

Bottle shared. Slight hazy golden with short lasting white head. Cheese, sour grains, dank hops, quite some citrus, tangerine and lemon mostly. Quite mineral and lots of drying grass, funk, some leather and horse. Under medium sour and bitter. Almost medium bodied with soft carbonation. Quite hoppy but not overpowering at all, well done.

Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of wood, funk, light white wine, some buttery notes. Light sour flavour, lemon rinds, tart. Woody finish, lemon zest, some nail polish remover. Decent sour ale.

375ml bottle from Brewdog.com. Pours hazy gold with minimal off-white head. Vibrant lambic aroma. Taste is crisp, straw funk with overripe grapes and mild cider vinegar on the finish. Expected more hop character but on the whole this is an interesting, super refreshing gueuze.
