Bottle from Craft Brewed. Pours a pitch black with brownish purple highlights and a quickly dissipating, small brown head. Bourbon forward nose with plum, coconut, oak and cacao nib aromas. Sweet coconut and vanilla on the palate with lots of bourbon soaked chocolate flavors. Oak comes out as it warms. Slick mouthfeel and maybe a touch thin. Still pretty boozy, but all the flavors are distinctly present. Lingering cacao nib, vanilla, coconut and booze. Very nice. --- Beer merged from original tick of Black Belle Aged On Coconut on 18 Dec 2018 at 22:39 - Score: 8. Original review text: Big bourbon forward nose with plum, cacao nib, oak and marshmallow vanilla notes. Coconut/ vanilla oak on the palate. Bourbon finish. Yum

Bottle thanks to Blake. Pours black with small beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is intense coconut, wood, bourbon, roast. Slick body, milk chocolate, coconut, oak, boozy, very good.

On tap at Blackstone, pours black with a tiny head. Nose is loaded with coconut extract upfront, with little else to speak of. Flavour is pure coconut extract, with light vanilla and not much of the barrels discernible. Not feeling the coconut addition here - it's aggressive but lacking elegance or depth.
