Bottle shared at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig ’13, 10/08/13. Murky pineapple juice/pale yellow with a very thin off white head that dissipates edgeward. Nose is sour fruit, lemon, yeasty, thin - not much doing. Taste comprises wish washy fruit notes, lemon, soap, straw, light alcohol, grain. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry finish. Not very eleganT!

At Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013. It pours hazy pale golden with a small bubbly white head. The nose is chemically, light fluid, varnish, sweet dough and cereal. The taste is sweet, doughy, cereal, chemically, rubbing alcohol, light bitterness, paper and stone fruit with a dryish finish. Light-medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty nasty stuff all-round.

33 cl bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu. Rated on 14.08.2010
Aroma is somewhat sweet and perfume‐like with toffee, alcohol, some distant floral and yeasty notes. Flavour has toffee typical to Belgian ale, some boozy notes and hints of honey. Too much alcohol comes through.

33 cL bottle. Pours almost clear and golden orange with a 2finger thick off-white head. Aroma is spiced and dry malty. Light phenolic too. Flavour is dry spiced and dry malty with a distinct phenolic dominant note on the back of the nose. Light sweetness on the back of the tongue though. Spiced lingering into the far finish.

Bottled (BB 12/2007)
Hazy amber-orange-nut brown color, steady creamy off-white head. Vinegar, candy, grass in the nose. Sweetish candy sugarish flavors, which doesn’t show much of its ABV. Then there is some woody-grassy hoppy notes and soya sauce. It’s quite typical strong Dutch ale with sweetness and those woody flavors.
