Brooklyn East India Pale Ale, originally a summer seasonal, has been getting raves since becoming a year round offering in 1996. English malts and hops are used to brew this EIPA in the classic, heavily-hopped style of the 19th century beers.

On tap @The Office Bar, Varaždin. Clear copper pour, two finger creamy off-white head, medium retention. Sticky lacing on the glass. Malty nose, herbal and grassy notes, some ripe fruits in the background. Medium body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, chewy, refreshingly fizzy. Moderately bitter taste with sweet malty notes in the background. Aroma of caramel malt, bread, dough. Ripe tropical fruits, citrus peel. Grassy and herbal notes, spice. Hints of honey. Mild lingering alcohol, subtle burn. Medium lasting finish, dry, lingering bitterness. Tasty.

It’s definitely east coast, but not english. Danky hop charcter, but clean and refreshing. Very well made for the style. Craftbier shop adventkalendar
