Bottle. Toasty, roasty nose, savory soy, almost meaty. Dark brown to black with thick lace. Grape or cherry notes, bit of smoke, lots of umami and soy, nutty and toasty. More like a Baltic porter. Not bad.

Tiefdunkle Farbe, bräunlicher Schaum. Interessanter süßlicher Geruch. Geschmacklich findet man etwas Rotwein und Malz. Röstige Nuancen mit Spuren von Kaffee und dunkler Schokolade sind ab dem Mittelteil bestimmend. Der hohe Alkoholgehalt ist nicht zu vordergründig. Etwas zu viel Kohlensäure, auch wenn diese extrem feinperlig ist. Gibt eine gewisse spritzige Leichtigkeit, die man bei einem Bier dieser Stärke und Färbung nicht unbedingt erwartet - das kann man gut oder schlecht finden.

Appearance: Dark brown colour with a beige head.
Aroma: Roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, caramel, some fruit.
Body: Medium body, low to medium carbonation.

--Bottled. -- Very dark brown, small head. Aroma of tobacco, treacle and licorice. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Salty treacle, tobacco and licorice. Mid bitter finish.

Smell-weak to medium, malt, coffee, coffee remains, faint dark chocolate. Foam- thin, malty, faint roast and coffee. Head is small to medium, white - brown in color. Appearance- brewer bottle cap, bottle wrapped in paper, I personally like that, design is some owl also, nice I guess. From - snifter Price - 3.85 euros for 0.33l Taste- malt, coffee, dark chocolate, weak roast. Malty, coffee-y. Drinkable overall, for cheap price it would be taker.

Dunkelbraune Farbe mit beiger Schaumkrone. Malziger, röstmalziger Geruch mit Kaffee und Schokolade. Geschmacklich malzig, röstmalzig mit Kaffee und Schokolade, leicht nussig. Hohe Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

deep dark brown colour, huge, dense and long lasting beige head; aroma of coffee, ash, chocolate, roasted nuts and toasted rye bread; taste has the same notes as can be felt in the aroma with clear burnt-roasted bittery dominance; not bad, though a bit one-dimensional (considering its taste)
