Bottle. Deep brown with a small off-white head. Aroma and taste are a pleasant coofee texture that's actually very tasty.
You know what I say about coffee...

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark coppery brown with a slight beige head. Aroma of nice coffee. Near med body. Flavor is nice coffee, but it's all thinnish - both body and flavor. Needs more malt.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a dark amber with a tight, white, foamy head that dissipates slowly. Aromas of yeast, chocolate, and a slight hint of lemon. Taste is mildly sweet with watered-down flavors of chocolate, coffee, and caramel. Body is medium and on the watery side. Texture is thin with average carbonation. Finish is on the astringent side and has a bit of a "metallic tang" to it.
Overall, I found the watery flavor and body to be underwhelming.

Bottle. Clear dark brown with mahogany highlights. Small tan head. Light sweet aroma of roast malt and cocoa powder. The flavor is Porter that was watered down with cafe mocha. Not bad just thin bodied and thin flavored.

Pours reddish brown, healthy finger of tannish foam.
Good smell of roasted coffee with some chocolate that seems to be on the sweet side.
Coffee and chocolate dominate the taste. Bitter sweet overall. I like it.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Andover Liquors. Appearance is clear dark ruby red with minimal sparkle, no head and no lacing. Aroma is dark-roasted coffee. Taste is bittersweet roasted coffee. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, lively carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, tastes like sweetened ice coffee. Tasty but much more coffee than ale.

Bottle sent by Shiner for review: The pour is brown like a lighter porter that makes up its base. A foamy head fizzes away like a soda, leaving a slight trail of foam. Smell has some lightly-roasted coffee ahead of some similarly roasty malt. There’s a bit of chocolate in the aftertaste at the finish. Coffee is a good match with a porter or stout. With dark malt adding to the coffee’s taste, you do run the risk of being kept up the night after some coffee beers, and that kind of happened to me, too. So let that be a lesson about pacing myself.

On tap at Cedar Creek. Pours a hazy copper with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is cocoa, bready malt, roast. Medium body, dark chocolate, spice, roast, bitter finish, decent.
