Pour is a cloudy blonde with a large white head. Aroma is a decent citrus and berry. Flavor is more citrus and berry with a super bitter finish. Pretty solid pale ale.

Rated last year - Pours up a big off white head. Aroma is of caramel malt and mild resinous hops. Flavor has mild to mod bitterness with resin and toasted caramel malt. Medium body. It’s okay but nothing stands out.

OK, so this can is APA and not IPA? What-ever with the hops, RB. Smells like fresh pine needles er sumthin. Taste is gradually increasing intensity of hops. Starts off fruity and OK then it goes to the max with sharp rubber hops. Will not go away, in yer face for the duration. Yes, lots of sharper bitter hops fer sher. I drank this directly form the can, so, if I assume ot to be hazy pale yellow, forgive me, new-englander. I guess you can consider this a session IPA? Yes, let cincinati go to NE, heheh.

Keg at Brewdog, Brum. 01/06/17. Feint citrus aroma. Golden amber. Bubbly white head, but it has no legs. Down on the dial: a hum of bitterness but not much going on. Citrus. Pepper. Malt. Light bodied. Watery. Soft carbonation. Long low key finish. Really boring, but perhaps given a disservice by being served too cold.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a hazy bright golden color with a large fluffy white head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was sweet orange, pine and a bit of cat pee. The taste was dryish, tart and bitter with lemon, grapefruit and some cat pee. Long finish. Medium body. Meh.

Keg at BD AGM. It pours clear golden amber with a thick white head. The aroma is fresh, piney, bread, brioche, grapefruit and toasty grain. The taste is dry, bitter, piney, cereal, toasty grain, marmalade, grapefruit, dull toffee and dull alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Medium body and fine carbonation. Easy drinking pale ale. Not bad.

22 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy golden orange/light copper color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, passion fruit, papaya, citrus zest, light pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great complexity and balance of citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, passion fruit, papaya, citrus zest, light pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine/herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, passion fruit, papaya, citrus peel, pepper, pine, honey, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light dryness from lingering bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and slightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.6%. Overall this is an excellent American pale ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and pretty refreshing to drink. Very juicy and a bit dank on hops; nice malt backbone without feeling too sweet. A very enjoyable offering.

Re-rate 2017. Fresh batch on tap at J’s. Pours a clear, glowing gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Still light on the palate, but lots of citrus, lychee and wild berry on the nose. Clean and crisp. Some light lemon and berry and kiwi on the palate. Light bitter finish. Enjoyable.
