As if DRIPA wasn’t enough, we first brewed this Triple Rice IPA for our 2013 Summer Solstice Celebration. The larger grain bill and longer boil leads to a big malty character, yet the hops are still at the forefront, all sticky and citrusy. The finish lingers a bit longer than DRIPA, but is still clean and dry with just a bit of heat.

Can from the brewery. Golden yellow pour with some haze and a white head. Pine, spicy hop aromas, hinting at fruit. Flavor is strong on the pine hops as well, sweet and slightly toasty honey malt beneath. Strong, fairly sweet, and pretty tasty.

2023 vintage 12oz bottle pours with a clear deep gold colored body that supports a full near white head of foam. The aroma offers up some pine like hops and thin layers of fruity esters. The taste delivers bitter hops with a floral hop wrinkle wrapped around a growing integrated fig and cantaloupe sweet fruitiness. To midway murmurs of citrus hoppiness bubble to the surface. Solid year old offering.

Thanks Gregg for sharing the can! Poured into a taster showing pale amber with sparse white foam. The nose shows light pineapple. The palate is moderately carbonated and medium bodied. Moderately sweet with a moderate bitterness on the finish. Sweetness isn't bad compared to the DRIPA.

Bottle shared. Thanks Gregg! Hoppy nose with almost a coriander herbal aspect alongside some faint honey. The rice really lightens the body up well. Feels very Belgian in the mouth. Silky and smooth. Clean finish that hides the abv fairly well. Very nice.

Pours golden, clear, bit of white foam. Aroma is fresh, herbal hops, feels quite clean. Tastes aggressively bitter, yet light and easygoing, extremely well executed triple IPA. 12 percent of alcohol is nowhere to be seen. If you told me it has 6 percent abv I would believe you. Amazing. Nice bitter linger in the finish.

This is insanely light body for 12%. Nice crackery malt character, slightly boozy in the nose, but the body has low carbonation, super smooth and amazingly light for the alcohol. A bit of rye character, very very well put togehter. I would assume a 9% IIPA, but light bodied. This is really interesting.

Draught at the brewery, 5/5/16.
Rich honey golden with strong copper hues and a medium-sized, thick white head atop. Clarity is high.
Take the DRIPA and up the peach, pine and grapefruit element to the point where it has a massive fruit-resin twang replete with pretty strong alcohol and heavy caramel. Yep, it’s a triple IPA. Why this "style" continues to get brewed is beyond me, but here we are.
Syrupy, heavily caramel-laden texture with as much huge sour resin burn as you can imagine. Ample carbonation, I guess? Not as bad as some examples (Devil Dancer, Captain Lawrence) but that’s saying very little.
