Fom a huge can. Half the size would be great! Pours a clear gold/amber with moderate head. Aromas of dull pine, hop pellets and wet malts. Flavors follow same with a bit of spicy resin. Definite old school hops, similar to home brew. Expecting more from Green Flash...

Bottle from The Bottle Shop Bermondsey and drunk at home. Clear amber colour lasting cream head. Big grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit in the mouth. Some sherbet hop in the mouth. Good lightness in the mouth. It's decent enough hoppy ipa. Some light bitterness on the finish.

Solid and easy drinking IPA, if nothing extraordinary. Strong pine and a little grapefruit. Good malt base. Medium bitter finish. Goes down easy like Gladiator shots. Can.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a crystal clear gold with a full finger of foam that lingers. Grapefruit and pine resin dominate the nose. Bitter on the palate with some more citrus pith and zest alongside a nice drop of resin. Simple and straightforward, clean west-coast IPA. Missing some of the pungent, dank aromas I love but still a nice beer. Lingering resiny bitterness on the finish.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. light grapefruit and light summer fruit aroma. Grapefruit and tropical fruit flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and tropical fruit linger.

Sampled on draft at Hugo's this beer poured a dark golden color with a large fluffy yellow-white head that lingered forever and left great lacing. The aroma was dry, yeasty, chalky and citric. The flavor was tangy and bitter with perfume and sweettart candies. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.

Draft at hollywood gardens. Pale & clear. No sense of BO on the nose, thankfully its smells clean and crisp. Taste is IPA all the way. Bitter to the core, whew. Just one more well done ubiquitous IPA. Not impressed.

Draft: Grapefruit and lemongrass nose. Clear amber, medium head, good lace. Grapefruit, grass. Medium body, easy carbonation. Old school hops plus modern controls, processes, and Green Flash's deft brewing ability equals a unique well made IPA.
