Bearded Iris V Latte @9.4%. It pours dark brown with a small light tan head. The aroma is sweet, oily, sticky, coffee with cream, roasted malt, earthy, wood, leather, vanilla custard and cake frosting. The taste is smooth, bitter - rich roasted malt, earthy, coffee grounds, slick, syrup, coffee mate, peppery spicy, chewy, toothy, boozy warmth, burnt toast and some toasty warmth through the finish. Medium+ body and fine, foamy carbonation. Nice aroma, but there is a slightly burnt note in the taste. Not nearly as good as the canned Los Vascos IMO. Fun anyhow.

16oz can pours an oily, deep brown with no head. Nose has nice dank coffee, vanilla extract, chocolate, brown sugar, malt, some dried berry. Flavor is sweet, brown sugar, licorice, vanilla, less coffee here, more rootbeer. Slick finish.

Draft at the source. Pours a thick and fudgey looking brown with a finger of creamy caramelized beige head that lingers then dissipates. Coffee, toasted caramel, treacle-forward nose. Lots of milk chocolate as it warms, vanilla in there as well. The palate is excellent, all creamy coffee chocolate pudding through and through. Rich, thick and full-bodied. More liquid fudge, milk chocolate with light vanilla, caramel and roasty coffee. Everything comes together and like a nice machiato the sweetness is balanced out by roasty bitterness. The best stout I've had from BI.
