We use a touch of spices and pounds of real pumpkins to create a warm but surprisingly crisp spin on the traditional pumpkin ales made by American colonists.

Pours a coppery amber from a bottle, quickly dissipating off-white head. Not much aroma to speak of. Flavor is a cinnamon-y pumpkin spice, sort of a cinnamon toast crunch flavor with a hit of bitterness in the finish. Okay beer.

Keg at BD Mighty Boosh, 19/05/16. Clear golden with a well appointed off White head. Nose is carrot cake, clove, pumpkin esters, light spice, straw. Taste is on the thin side, faint pumpkin pie, light nutmeg, straw, earthy fruit, rather muted all told. Medium bodied, soft velvety mouthfeel, light bittersweet close. Pretty average stuff for the pumpkin scene ... doesn’t deliver a great deal but fat from offensive.

35cl Bottle at Black Smith. Clear orange copper colour, off-white head. Aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, hops, light sweet malts, pumpkin skin. Flavour is medium sweet, spicy but not too spicy, cinnamon and nutmeg, amber malts, hoppy bitter finish. Light bodied. Quite nice actually.
