Barrel Aged Navel Gazer (Ridegemont 1792)

Draft at the source. Pours a pitch black with a finger of tan head that lingers then dissipates. Huge chocolate cacao nose. Milk chocolate aromas, some vanilla, cream and oak as it warms. Smooth and creamy chocolate truffle, bourbon & vanilla. Very rich and all the chewiness from Navel Gazer is there even after the barrel treatment. Not boozy at all. Surprisingly dangerously drinkable and a big improvement over the TN whiskey BA version a few months back.
