16 oz can, thanks to Ben! Pours black, with a medium, tan head. Big vanilla aroma up front, with brown sugar, light coffee, walnut, maple syrup, and caramel. Cloying sweetness. Heavy and thick. This is a delicious and decadent beer.

16oz can c/o Ben. Foamy beige head atop a deep brown-black body. A pretty solid Brown Ale, assumably a lot better had they not hit it with the lactose, which tends to just add unneccessary sweetness to an already sweet beer. The vanilla is an OK addition, but murked up by the lactose. Sixpack type stuff fancied up in a pastry way. OK.

Great beer. Has the feeling of a decadent imperial stout but nowhere near the abv. Smooth with a nutty bouquet

On tap at Southern Grist, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma is quite earthy, with muffled coffee beans and toasted malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with earthy coffee beans, not much else. Earthy and dry, with some lingering dry bitterness. Not bad.

Draft at the source. Pours a clear brown with a finger of beige head. Caramel malt nose, toffee, light coffee notes. Kind of a simple malt flavor on the palate, some coffee. Faint vanilla...I don't know about this one. Finish is thin and kind of watery.
